ENGLEWOOD, Colo., December 18, 2025 &ndash; Kodiak Interiors Group (KIG), a leading provider of appliance and interior solutions, announced the acquisition of DeWaard &amp; Bode effective December 16, 2025. This strategic acquisition supports KIG&rsquo;s continued growth and enhances its capabilities within the appliance industry, further expanding its market presence and service offerings.
DeWaard &amp; Bode offers home appliances, bedding, and related services, representing leading brands while offering expert installation and repair. Known for their strong customer focus and reliable solutions, DeWaard &amp; Bode further strengthens KIG&rsquo;s portfolio and enhances the company&rsquo;s ability to better serve customers and partners. This acquisition expands KIG&rsquo;s geographic reach alongside its existing operating companies, including Arizona Appliance &amp; Home, Don&rsquo;s Appliances, FBS Appliance, and Specialty Appliance.

Kodiak Interiors Group was proud to come together as a team to give back to our local community. Our headquarters employees spent the day volunteering at Food Bank of the Rockies, helping support families across Colorado facing food insecurity.

Volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rockies was a meaningful extension of that mission, supporting an organization that helps ensure families have access to the food and resources that make homes function.
Our team worked hands on to sort and package food, prepare distributions, and support efficient warehouse operations, mirroring the same attention to detail, organization, and service that defines our approach to appliances, kitchen design, and home solutions every day.

For more than two decades, leaders across the building products industry have gathered during Design and Construction Week to recognize companies donating product to support World Vision&rsquo;s disaster response and recovery efforts. In January 2026, this long standing event enters a new chapter as The Storehouse Project, reflecting a broader and more integrated approach to transforming excess inventory into meaningful aid for families in need.
The Storehouse Project connects manufacturers, distributors, and retailers with World Vision, helping route donated building materials and household essentials such as cabinetry, flooring, doors, appliances, and tools to communities recovering from fires, floods, hurricanes, and economic hardship. These efforts not only support immediate disaster response but also play a critical role in long term rebuilding and resiliency.
