Kodiak Interiors Group (KIG) is rooted in the values and entrepreneurial spirit that built Kodiak Building Partners, a company founded in 2011 by Steve Swinney, Brian Cleveringa, Eric Miller, Kyle Barker, and Paul Hylbert. Their mission was clear: revolutionize the building materials industry through a decentralized, relationship-focused model that empowered local leaders and preserved the heritage of family-run businesses.

That vision took shape quickly and successfully. Over the years, Kodiak Building Partners grew to encompass more than 140 locations across 29 states, with a team of over 6,700 employees, each driven by a shared commitment to community, excellence, and smart growth.

Now, Kodiak Interiors Group is stepping into its own identity. As a dedicated, independent company, KIG is focused exclusively on the interiors sector bringing specialized resources, strategic focus, and operational strength to appliance and interiors companies across the country. Backed by the legacy, expertise, and success of Kodiak Building Partners, we are building a future defined by growth, innovation, and unwavering support for local leadership.
