<p><strong>ENGLEWOOD, Colo., December 18, 2025 &ndash; </strong>Kodiak Interiors Group (KIG), a leading provider of appliance and interior solutions, announced the acquisition of DeWaard &amp; Bode effective December 16, 2025. This strategic acquisition supports KIG&rsquo;s continued growth and enhances its capabilities within the appliance industry, further expanding its market presence and service offerings.</p>
<p>DeWaard &amp; Bode offers home appliances, bedding, and related services, representing leading brands while offering expert installation and repair. Known for their strong customer focus and reliable solutions, DeWaard &amp; Bode further strengthens KIG&rsquo;s portfolio and enhances the company&rsquo;s ability to better serve customers and partners. This acquisition expands KIG&rsquo;s geographic reach alongside its existing operating companies, including Arizona Appliance &amp; Home, Don&rsquo;s Appliances, FBS Appliance, and Specialty Appliance.</p>

<p>For more than two decades, leaders across the building products industry have gathered during Design and Construction Week to recognize companies donating product to support World Vision&rsquo;s disaster response and recovery efforts. In January 2026, this long standing event enters a new chapter as The Storehouse Project, reflecting a broader and more integrated approach to transforming excess inventory into meaningful aid for families in need.</p>
<p>The Storehouse Project connects manufacturers, distributors, and retailers with World Vision, helping route donated building materials and household essentials such as cabinetry, flooring, doors, appliances, and tools to communities recovering from fires, floods, hurricanes, and economic hardship. These efforts not only support immediate disaster response but also play a critical role in long term rebuilding and resiliency.</p>

<p><strong>ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 9, 2025 &mdash;</strong> Kodiak Building Partners (KBP), a leading building materials distribution company, today announced the launch of Kodiak Interiors Group (KIG), a new, stand-alone business formed through the sale of Kodiak&rsquo;s appliances and interiors portfolio. The new entity will operate independently, enabling a more focused strategy in the appliances and interiors market while supporting long-term growth for both organizations.</p>
<p>Kodiak Interiors Group will include existing operating companies specializing in interiors, including Arizona Appliance &amp; Home, Don&rsquo;s Appliances, FBS Appliance and Specialty Appliance.</p>
<p>As of July 8, Jeff Smith will assume the role of CEO at KIG. Brian Huss will succeed Jeff as CFO of KBP. Joining Smith on the leadership team at KIG are Darius McCurty, who will serve as CFO, and Greg Ulvedal and Kirk Dryden, both current executive vice presidents who will continue in their leadership roles as part of the interiors group. Steve Swinney, co-founder and CEO of KBP, will serve as executive chairman of the board for KIG, providing strategic continuity and oversight.</p>
<p>&ldquo;After careful consideration and partnership, this decision was made for Kodiak Interiors Group to capitalize on significant growth opportunities in the appliances and interiors market, enabling a more focused and specialized approach to operational excellence, customer service and local leadership,&rdquo; said Smith.
