ColoradoBiz Top Company Awards

Kodiak Interiors Group (KIG) has been named a finalist to ColoradoBiz Magazine's 2026 Top Companies. After celebrating our first anniversary earlier this month, what an honor it is to head into our second year of business with new accolades and recognition of the exceptional work our team has put forth.

Our roots

KIG was founded in 2025 as an independent acquisition firm, built with intentional focus to capitalize on growth opportunities in the fragmented home appliance and interiors markets. In our first year, we have built a platform generating more than $500 million in annual revenue across five operating companies, a milestone made even more impressive considering the backdrop of market headwinds and largely flat industry-wide demand.

What sets KIG apart is the business model we’ve built to sustain these results and continue to grow. Rather than folding local businesses into a single national brand, we are taking a different approach: preserving the local leadership, customer relationships, and community identity that made each operating company successful, while layering in the operational expertise, financial resources, and national scale needed to achieve success. It's a strategy that enables us to offer the best of both worlds for our operating companies, and their customers with trust and responsiveness at a local level, paired with the purchasing power and infrastructure of a national organization.

Leading business in Colorado with community at our core

Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, KIG is proud of the community connections our team has developed, and we’re committed to strengthening those relationships as our company grows. In our first year alone, we completed six volunteer events and donated home appliances to various projects that benefit veterans and families transitioning into permanent housing. We also supported major initiatives like the St. Jude Dream Home program, and contributed financial support, sponsorships, and in-kind donations to organizations across the state,  including Food Bank of the Rockies, Ronald McDonald House, Home Aid Colorado, and Home Builders Foundation, among others.

For KIG, this level of community engagement is one measure we use to define success. It’s nice to receive recognition from organizations like ColoradoBiz, but that is not why we are motivated to take part in these important community-strengthening initiatives. We do it because it’s central to who we are as a company.

What's Next

Looking ahead, KIG and our operating partners are on a growth trajectory. We’re excited about the future and our plans to continue expanding our collective of locally led appliance and interiors businesses, with continued investment in our people, our partners and customer experience.

Being named a Top Companies finalist is a meaningful milestone in KIG's first year, and one that reflects the strength of our team, our partners, and our Colorado roots. Congratulations to the entire KIG team on this recognition.
